Gametime in Arlington's 2012 MLB All-Star starter predictions

Every year, I love looking ahead to the Midsummer Classic and predicting the starters for MLB's All-Star Game. Managers will reveal the rosters tomorrow afternoon, but here's my take on who should start at Kauffman Stadium, one of the more underrated parks in America after the renovation in 2009.

American League Starters:
Catcher: Joe Mauer, Minnesota
First base: Paul Konerko, Chicago
Second base: Robinson Cano, New York
Shortstop: Elvis Andrus, Texas
Third base: Miguel Cabrera, Detroit
Outfield: Josh Hamilton, Texas
Outfield: Mark Trumbo, Anaheim
Outfield: Mike Trout, Anaheim
Designated hitter: David Ortiz, Boston

Starting pitcher: Chris Sale, Chicago
Closer: Fernando Rodney, Tampa Bay

National League Starters:
Catcher: Carlos Ruiz, Philadelphia
First base: Joey Votto, Cincinnati
Second base: Brandon Phillips, Cincinnati
Shortstop: Starlin Castro, Chicago
Third base: David Wright, New York
Outfield: Carlos Gonzalez, Colorado
Outfield: Andrew McCutchen, Pittsburgh
Outfield: Ryan Braun, Milwaukee

Starting pitcher: R.A. Dickey, New York
Closer: Craig Kimbrel, Atlanta
